Summary of Experience

Mr. Mysilvec has 10 years of analyst experience. During his education at the Colorado School of Mines, Ian completed a valuation of an oil field using techniques such as stochastic discounted cash flow and Monte Carlo simulation of these as geometric Brownian motion, discounting risks at their source with financial market information, and real options valuation for managerial options, such as altering the drilling schedule, adding wells, workovers, etc.

Before joining Baker & O’Brien, Ian worked as a Consulting Analyst for Argus Media, where he developed and priced scope of projects, statistical analysis, market research, and prepared and delivered reports and presentations.

As a Planning Analyst for Occidental Oil & Gas, Ian modeled and evaluated workover projects using risk adjusted incremental DCF valuation. He also analyzed competitors using Texas Railroad Commission data, 10-K financial statements, and internal data on joint ventures.
