Mr. Rayne advises clients on project management and technical matters for construction and development projects. With over 25 years of experience in oil and gas field development projects, John has overseen production and drilling facilities engineering and worked for EPC Contractors and Owners, delivering fixed and floating offshore field developments.
John joined Baker & O'Brien from Fircroft, Inc. where he primarily focused on Chevron Deepwater Major Capital Projects. He also served in senior engineering, project management, and other technical roles with several engineering and production companies. His experience includes a wide range of onshore and offshore developments in the U.S., Indonesia, China, Colombia, Trinidad, Angola, Nigeria, and Brazil, working on projects for several major exploration and production companies, including Chevron, Unocal, BP, ConocoPhillips, BHP Billiton, Esso, and Kerr McGee.
