Summary of Experience
Mr. Waguespack has over 30 years of operations and consulting experience in the hydrocarbon processing industries, including petrochemicals, refining, marketing, and crude oil supply. He began his career with ARCO Chemical (later Lyondell Petrochemical), where he worked in a world-scale petrochemical and specialty chemicals complex, in a variety of roles, including process engineering, operations, project design and commissioning, and planning and economics.
As a consultant since 1992, Kevin has advised companies on a diverse range of topics, including business strategy, crude oil and refined product markets, supply chain optimization, and cost management. Since joining Baker & O'Brien in 2003, he has continued to provide industry advisory services, including market outlooks, competitiveness assessments, crude oil valuations, feasibility studies, and merger and acquisition due diligence. Kevin has also provided consulting support or served as an expert witness on numerous complex commercial disputes related to economic damages from business interruption, asset valuation, purchase-sale contracts, gasoline quality and supply, plant incidents, and energy project development.
