With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Shah provides strategic, technical, and economic guidance to clients in the downstream, midstream, and renewable fuels sectors. His deep understanding and comprehensive approach make him a valued consultant in these domains.

Probir’s career in the industry spans roles at Phillips 66, Delek U.S. Holdings, and Delta Airlines (Monroe Energy), where he worked at four different refineries (Ponca City, Tyler, Lion Oil, and Trainer) in engineering, operations, and planning/optimization. At Muse Stancil, his consulting work covered a wide range of areas, including due diligence, market studies, competitive analysis, renewable fuels, and litigation support. He was also involved in asset liquidation planning and management, independent/lenders’ engineering, and energy business consulting for various domestic and international clients.

As a Senior Consultant at Baker & O’Brien, Mr. Shah has primarily supported advisory assignments on refinery and inventory valuations, buy-side acquisitions, due diligence, competitive market studies, renewable fuels, fuel quality and regulatory issues, and other industry-related business consulting topics. His extensive industry knowledge is also applied to litigation-related matters, ensuring comprehensive support for his clients.
