Baker & O’Brien is pleased to announce that John Rayne has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant in our Dallas office. John holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He offers more than 30 years of experience in project management and technical roles in oil and gas field development projects with an emphasis on production, drilling, and facilities engineering. John comes to us from Fircroft, Inc., where he coordinated FEED development and engineering activities for Chevron's Big Foot development in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to Fircroft, John served in senior engineering, project management, and other technical roles with Alliance Engineering, Technip Offshore, Inc., U.S. Ocean Rig, Inc., Kvaerner Maritime, Inc., Industrial Risk Insurers, Howden Monarch, and Rowan Companies. John has been involved in a wide range of onshore and offshore developments in the U.S., Indonesia, China, Colombia, Trinidad, Angola, Nigeria, and Brazil. He has worked on projects with a number of major exploration and production companies, including Chevron, Unocal, ConocoPhillips, BHP Billiton, Esso, and Kerr McGee.
