Summary of Experience

Mr. Moore offers 30 years of operations, maintenance/reliability, and technology experience, principally in the petrochemical industry. His areas of expertise include chemical plant maintenance, facility condition assessment and due diligence, equipment reliability improvement, loss prevention, turnaround development/execution, plant operations and process technology, project commissioning, plant design, mechanical integrity, safety instrumented systems, and economic feasibility. Cliff is also a recognized expert in root cause analysis and accident investigation and has a broad and deep understanding of OSHA process safety management and personal safety programs.

Cliff joined Baker & O’Brien after serving as Site Reliability, Maintenance, and Turnaround Director for Ascend Performance Materials. He previously spent 25 years at Dow, serving in various roles, including Global Reliability Engineer, Technology Associate, Production Leader, Maintenance Director, and, most recently, North American Reliability Director. While at Dow, Cliff worked in polyurethanes, polyethylene, glycols, power generation, wastewater treatment, and site logistics technologies. Cliff began his career as a Systems Engineer with the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board in Washington, DC, supporting nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship.

Cliff is a Six Sigma Black Belt, qualified in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and is NIMS certified for Incident Management.
