Summary of Experience

Edward Scardaville has over 40 years of experience in the downstream energy sector, with expertise in refinery modeling and market analysis. He leads projects and advises clients on strategy, short-term planning, crude oil economics, project development, mergers and acquisitions, competitive analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Ed began his career with ARCO/Lyondell, holding roles in process engineering and economic planning at the Houston refinery and Channelview ethylene complex. He spent over 30 years as a consultant at Purvin & Gertz, Inc. (later acquired by IHS Markit), developing expertise in downstream technical, commercial, and market areas, and assisting clients globally.

Since joining Baker & O’Brien, Ed has led and contributed to numerous advisory projects related to market assessment studies and due diligence engagements. He has also led an analytical study on the cost of producing summer conventional gasoline blendstock without a one pound per square inch Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) waiver for the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM).
