Summary of Experience
Tim has 25 years of international experience in engineering, project management, and commercial operations, predominantly in the LNG and midstream energy sectors. Complementing his international engineering and project management expertise, he offers M&A, commercial, and joint venture management experience.
Tim began his career as an engineering consultant with WorleyParsons, later earning an M.B.A. from INSEAD. He then joined Heidelberg/Hanson as Corporate Development Manager in London to support corporate strategy and acquisitions. Tim later moved to Dallas to manage and support business strategy initiatives, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital projects for North America. In 2011, he joined Origin Energy as Joint Venture Manager involved in a multi-billion dollar LNG project in Australia.
Since joining Baker & O’Brien in 2012, Tim has worked on a wide range of due diligence, insurance, and dispute-related assignments. He has been engaged in international arbitration matters relating to pipelines, terminals, LNG plants, refineries, gas processing facilities, and power plants. As an appointed subject matter expert, he has prepared expert reports and provided oral testimony for our clients.
