Baker & O’Brien is pleased to announce that Luis Rey has joined Baker & O’Brien as a Senior Consultant in our Houston office. Luis offers more than 30 years of experience in the oil & gas industry in technical and executive roles where he was responsible for project management, enterprise and project risk management, project engineering, and the structural design of offshore facilities. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Lima, Peru) and a M.S. in Structural Engineering from North Carolina State University. He has managed upstream and downstream engineering, procurement and construction activities for projects in the U.S., Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Luis joins Baker & O’Brien from Wood plc, where he was Vice President of Mexico Operations with profit and loss responsibilities. Previously, Luis was with Amec Foster Wheeler, Global Industries Offshore, the Nielsen-Wurster Group, and Halliburton/KBR/Brown & Root.
