Baker & O’Brien is pleased to announce that Shawn McDonald has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant in our Houston office. Shawn holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi and offers more than 25 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industries, including engineering and project assignments in onshore and offshore developments. Shawn joins us following a 25 year career with Chevron, where he was most recently based in Florence, Italy, as an Engineering Delivery Manager on Chevron’s Tengizchevroil Future Growth project. While at Chevron, he also completed various project management assignments in the development of the Big Foot, Perdido, Tubular Bells, and Caesar Tonga projects in the deep water Gulf of Mexico. As a facilities engineer with Chevron, Shawn has also managed engineering design and installation activities in electrical, instrumentation, controls, and power generation.
